ONSITES sends the Easter Bunny off: Easter presents in the form of a donation for needy children in Varna

Orphans, street children, or disabled children: Bulgaria shows an increase in child poverty. At Easter 2019, ONSITES gives children in need a special treat.

All children ought to be happy! However, orphans, street children, or disabled children find themselves in difficult circumstances. They usually do not have access to a well-kept flat, a healthy diet, new clothes, toys, social or cultural participation, and fair educational opportunities. Added to this is a tremendous material deprivation of children, a high degree of social isolation, as well as health-related restrictions. Moreover, such children and young people are oftentimes also exposed to abuse, violence and exploitation. Irrespective of their origin, religion and political situation, every child in today’s society has the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and to unfold and develop freely.

With this in mind, ONSITES has set the Easter table for needy children in Varna. It is full of all kinds of gifts: Easter cake, Easter bunnies and chocolate eggs, as well as fruits, eggs, sausages, cheese and juices will put a smile on children’s faces at this year’s Easter.
